Giant Single-Serving Chocolate Chip Cookie

It seems like I have an obsession with cookies lately. Yeah... It's one of those periods when I crave sweet and crispy things. And cookies fall into that category perfectly. I hardly slept any last week so that leaves me so so so tired! Therefore I crave things to compensate my tiredness. Not a good combo, let me tell ya :P But this huge cookie is definitely sooo good! First of all, it's big. Like enormous! I couldn't eat the whole thing. Actually you could get 3 smaller cookies from this amount of dough but a giant cookie is always funner, right? I will have to make it up with a nice Insanity workout later... So if you have a terrible cookie craving this recipe is your recipe! You're done in less than 20 minutes! How great is that?! Giant Single-Serving Chocolate Chip Cookie 2 tablespoons butter - very soft, almost melted 2 tablespoons brown cane sugar 2 tablespoons whisked egg 1 teaspoon vanilla 4 tablespoons whole wheat flour 1/2 teaspoon

Walnut Chocolate Chunk Cookies

My first recipe from the Pierre Hermé book! These cookies were no disappointment, I must say. These are exactly the way cookies should be. They are crispy and chewy and oh so chocolatey! This recipe will be my go-to cookie recipe from now on, that is for sure! I've tried so so so many cookie recipes and except for the Jaques Torres cookies, none of them impressed me much. But you know, who wants to wait 24 or 36 hours to make them when you want cookies NOW. So these totally deliver results. Oh and they are huge! Not your medium cookies. They probably pack up lots of calories but which cookies don't? So I recommend you try this recipe warm-heartedly... :) Walnut Chocolate Chip Cookies adapted from the Pastries by Pierre Hermé makes 20 big cookies 1 1/4 cups (120 grams) walnuts 8 oz (240 grams) dark chocolate or chocolate chips 1 1/4 sticks (150 grams) unsalted butter, at room temperature 1 teaspoon sea salt 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 1/4 cup (240 grams) brown sugar - I used 70 gram

London

It's been quite a long time since I posted...like anything. The reason I've been missing is that I kind of slacked off. I did make some incredible desserts but I just didn't take any pretty pictures of them so I will have to remake them :) The other reason I didn't update is that I was in LONDON!! My very first time in the British capitol!  My birthday is around the corner, as well as my finals and thesis to get ready so what other time should we visit London than now? We had absolutely the most gorgeous weather! It was sunny every single day of our stay...which is a huge thing for London! It is finally spring! The flowers are blooming over there and the city is just beautiful. We didn't stay for long so I didn't see everything just some major parts of the city. I documented some of our eats, some of our wanted eats but didn't and I got some kitchen ware! Okay, not really ware but something that comes handy while baking :) And something sosososo exciting th
